Today I had the great pleasure of creating my artwork in front of a live audience. This was only my second time but I feel I am getting the hang of it! It is pretty amazing to be able to set up a little “studio” just with some tables and easels and work for the day like any other day in my studio at home. Of course, those doubting thoughts fly through the head, but thankfully I have a support system to flush those little critters in my head. So thank you to those people, you know how you are!
In the midst of also homeschooling my lovely little daughter, I am also finding the (little) time to create my art. I have become yet another student of a few classes as well and I am learning new techniques to incorporate which I am totally excited to share.
This is one of the paintings I created the night before, and I was able to finish today.
I am in love with the metallic paints and I never want to part from them! The way they shimmer as you walk past a painting just gets me.
My style has grown SO much over the years. And phew, has it been a journey! But I sure am lucky to finally be here, creating and a sharing the work I always imagined doing. You can even see some of my work here at the Mainplace Mall in Santa Ana, Orange County, California. The new Galeria of Imagination just opened up and it is such a wonderFULL space of collaborating artists. If you’re interested in showing your own art there, please reach out to the Gallery Coordinator, Mrs. Yenny Bernal for more information. She has such an infectious passion for art and created this community and continues to manifest it for the artists, by artists.
So much Love and Gratitude to You All,
